Elijah said the next day that riding this bumblebee with Keziah was his favorite part of the fair.
We all went on the carousel together. Keziah got a little nervous and was clinging on to me once it started moving, but I think she still enjoyed it.
One of the highlights of the fair is of course all of the yummy food that you can't get anywhere else. Bryan had this crazy thing called a Dill Dog which was basically a corn dog with the addition of a pickle.
The kids loved trying cotton candy and funnel cake for the first time.
We stopped on our way out to take a family picture in the giant Cracker Barrel rocker.
On Saturday, we started our morning out by going to Storytime Live at Kiddie Academy of Brentwood. The kids got to meet Curious George and Pinkalicious. They also were able to play on the playground and with the sand table, which they loved. There was a balloon artist and a face painter there as well. Elijah got a penguin balloon, while Keziah got a unicorn hat balloon. Keziah had a butterfly painted on her arm and Elijah had his face painted to look like a pirate. Afterwards, Elijah said he had so much fun at that playground place.
This is Keziah's face lately when we ask her to smile.
Next, we went to Cheekwood Gardens to check out the Storybook Houses exhibit that they currently have. It was our first time visiting this beautiful estate. All of the houses are so cool and we look forward to going back to Cheekwood in the future for other events.
